The Belize City family of 27 year-old Calvin Cattouse are anxious tonight for any information that could lead them to find him. He's been missing for 30 days now, and his family have all but accepted the likelihood that he is no longer alive.
Today, his mother returned to our office to make a public plea for information that would lead them to find him. She told us that she and her children just want closure for their loved-one:

"I am worried because [it's been] a month, and no answers, nowhere to be found. I am really hurted inside. I have an empty space I want to fill. I just want to locate my son, or find his body, or wherever he is, so that I can have closure. I really need that in my life, and my kids do too."
Daniel Ortiz, reporter
"Do you and your family suspect you are looking for his body, as compared to finding him alive?"
Bernadine Cattouse
"Well, you can say that because I don't think he's alive. I believe that he is dead, as his mother, and his brothers and sisters too. We don't believe that we will see him walk straight into our arms. That's not possible. But all we need right now, we need closure, without that, we don't have anything."

"So you're pleading to any person who may have information which could assist you to find him, in whatever state he may be in."
Bernadine Cattouse
"Yes, I do. Give us a phone call, whatever you can help us with, just do, because the family is very hurt, you know, most of all me, his mom. I'm very hurt because he's my son, and my son, for me, I don't think my murdered anyone, or - you know, but I won't say my son is perfect either. But, I do need closure, because it is hurting me a lot, and especially on a Sunday, because that's the day he went missing."
