Police say this man, Julio Choc is the man who ran over and killed 32 year old mother of one, Melissa Murillo Andrews - while injuring her husband, 35 year old Allen Andrews.
It happened over the weekend on the Southern highway between miles 11 and 12. On Tuesday night Belmopan police got the tip that led to the discovery of his cargo truck with a damaged front end. And the alleged driver was detained the next day. ASP Cowo gave us the update.

"A male person was detained yesterday at Belmopan. He was escorted to Dangriga police station where he will be definitely charged today. His name is Julio Choc."
"The vehicle that was suspected to be involved in the accident was impounded and inspected yesterday and is presently at the Dangriga police station."
Choc is a resident of Belmopan and is in Dangriga tonight where police have charged him for manslaughter by negligence, death by careless conduct, driving without due care and attention and failing to render assistance at the scene of an accident - among other charges. He will be arraigned in court tomorrow.
