Cops Shoot Man In Domestic Dispute
posted (November 7, 2017)
Police shot a man in the foot in Ladyville today. The cops were responding to a domestic dispute in the Milpa Area where Tiffara Tillett said that 36 year old Leon Usher was preventing her from leaving the house.

The police say he then approached police "in a boisterous and rowdy manner, making threats, saying that no one will remove him from his house and if police made any attempts he was ready to kill and be killed."

Undeterred, the police went about their business and removed Tillett along with some personal effects. But in the process, Usher rushed the police and tried to take away Tillett's personal effects.

The cops claim he jumped on the officer and tried to take his side arm from his waist.

In a tense moment, the officer pulled the gun first and fired a single shot at Usher which hit him to the left knee. He was subdued and taken for medical treatment. A criminal and internal investigation has been initiated. Usher remains under guard pending charges at the KHMH.
