Man Remanded For City Shooting

Yesterday we told you about a shooting incident that occurred in Broad daylight on Saturday morning. 41-year-old Clinton Abraham reported to police that he was riding his bike on Magazine Road when he was approached by a lone gunman who fired one shot. He had a minor injury to his left knee. 26 unemployed Eugene Fraser of Collet Canal Street was arrested and charged with use of deadly means of Harm and Wounding. Today he appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser and was arraigned for the use of deadly means of harm. No plea was taken because its an indictable offence, and there’s no bail for firearm offences, so he was remanded into custody until January 9th, 2018.
