Police expect to charge 42 year old BDF soldier Donald Enriquez tomorrow for causing the death of 34 year old Dangriga resident Hubert Lucas.
On Friday night, Enriquez ran over Lucas right in front of the Bowen and Bowen distributor on George Price Drive in Dangriga.
In the weekend’s other fatal accident in the Stann Creek District, where Placencia couple Mark Leslie and Myrna Vasquez were killed, the driver of the GMC Yukon, Delmar Ortega has been served with a notice of intended prosecution. Ortega remains in the hospital- and could face charges when he comes out. Police say he was overtaking a tractor when he ran into Leslie’s car at mile 12 on the Southern Highway.
