An Indian student is believed to be on the run tonight, heading north to the US. On Friday, police reported that 21 year old Maninder Singh, a student of Belize Medical College hadn't been seen since Thursday 9th November, 2017 when he last attended classes. They said he was missing, but today police told us they had hopes of finding him:

"We just received information that yes he is here in Belize. He is apparently at a ranch at this moment. Ladyville police are proceeding there to locate that said address along with the other medical students from Ladyville. The reason he is hiding, we wanted to establish that, we do not know what the motive is or why it is that he is trying to avoid his other colleagues or students at the medical school."
Well, it turns out he was not at that Indian owned ranch, and police suspect he has crossed the border and is trying to head north to the US. They can't say he is missing because his father is reported to be in contact with him. But he's in trouble with the University because he signed a contract with them to stay in school - since he broke the contract, once he is if found, they will return him to India.
