Victor Spain was known in his community as a discreet neighbor and a dedicated father.
Voice of: Relative
"I know this man is not a person who messes with anyone and he always tend to himself and his children."
But something went terribly wrong and Spain was murdered inside his home on Domingo Cruz Street. He had stab wounds on his body. Spain's 3 year son along with the boy's mother made the dreadful discovery yesterday evening.
Voice of: Relative
"The baby mom's usually just come drop off the little boy on Sunday as far I know."

"That is how they found him?"
Voice of: Relative
"Yes, that is how they found him."
Information is that Spain may have been killed on Friday because his family and friends couldn't get a hold of him since then.
Courtney Weatherburne
"And you guys didn't hear anything, anybody the scream, you guys didn't smell anything, see anything strange from Friday up until yesterday?"
Voice of: Relative
"Well everybody was trying to get to him but nobody could get to him I didn't think something happen to him."
Courtney Weatherburne
"So you were trying to call him from Friday you say?"
Voice of: Relative
"Yes I was calling him on Friday and Saturday and Sunday people the look for him but nobody can find him."
Courtney Weatherburne
"Did you guys go check at the house, go holler for him there?"
Voice of: Relative
"Well I think some people went there but I don't know if they found him or anything."
The only information Spain's relative has as to what might have happened on Friday is based on his friend's account.

"It is just a rumor that somebody came to tell me and they said someone was passing Friday night and they heard like somebody was screaming but they thought it was a family dispute so they didn't pay it any mind so the person say they see two male persons the run out of the spot."

"He never opened up to you or talk to you about any trouble or issues he had with anybody?"
Voice of: Relative
"No he didn't used to tell me about that part of his life, We just used to talk sense, we never used to talk about anything like that, nothing like who would hurt who or do bad thing we never used to do that."
Now his family is left puzzled as to what happened inside the comfort of Spain's house and why.

"It left me in shock, it left all we family in shock."
