Russell Hyde Juniour was shot on December fourth at a meat shop in San Ignacio Town. His grandmother said he was lured there by someone who was waylaying him. Tonight, police believe that the shooter is his own cousin, Rasheed Hyde. Today police put out this wanted poster for the 26 year old Santa Elena resident who is wanted for the attempted murder of his own cousin. But, news tonight is that he has turned himself into the San Ignacio police station with his attorney. Today the head of Belize City's CIB office told us why he is wanted:...

"In reference to the shooting of Russel Hyde Jr, which occurred on Monday 4th, police interviewed several persons, were able to get some information and as a result they has issued a wanted person by the name of Rasheed Hyde. We understand he is a family member ti Russel Hyde Jr. So at this moment police is presently looking for him - that might be a person that can assist us in the investigation."

"Is it the belief of the investigators that Mr. Russel Hyde may have been lured to that location or had brought there specifically to be shot?"

"Yes, that is what the investigation is pointing, that he had received a call to go to that location. Hence the reason he went there."
AGAIN, Rasheed Hyde turned himself in to police this evening.
