16 days ago, the Congress of the Football Federation of Belize finally elected Sergio Chuc as the new President of the Football Federation of Belize after a year and a half of uncertainty and unsettled affairs. Well, the new executive is moving to regularize the management of football, and they've separated the duties into different portfolios.
Earl Jones has been appointed as the General Secretary, and he carries on as he has for months now.
President Sergio Chuc has been appointed the portfolio of Finance, Local and International Relations and the Premier League.
Senior Vice President Marlon Kuylen has been appointed the portfolio of Marketing, Communication, the Elite National Team Programs, and Referees.
Vice President Cruz Gamez and Executive Member Shane Moody Orio have been given the portfolio of Youth Development, National Team Programs for Youths, the Youth Leagues, the Association, Coaches and Women. Gamez will serve as Chairman, and Orio will serve as the Deputy Chairman.
Darlene Vernon, the attorney elected as the other executive member, takes over Legal Affairs, Discipline and Appeals.
All appointments and portfolio assignments take effect from Saturday, December 16.
