And, in a final bit of police internal affairs housekeeping, there's the case of Tray Ara.
In October they made a public outcry, saying that San Ignacio police had badly brutalized 21-year-old Tray Ara while he was in custody.
It turns out that indeed he was beaten in the cell block, but it was another prisoner who did it. Williams explained:
Ara had to be hospitalized for a couple of days following the fist fight due to head and neck injuries.
