Today the Ministry of Health sent out a release to inform the public about the increase in the number of cases of gastroenteritis countrywide. Many people have been exhibiting symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and fever. The illness has been showing up mainly in individuals older than five, but, now, children in the age range from one to four are starting to show up with the same symptoms. The Ministry is advising the public to wash their hands as often as they possibly can to avoid getting sick and if you or anyone you know has symptoms the ministry urges that they visit the health centre immediately.
