Last week we told you about Cladius Meighan, the 80 year old who was found on the shoulder of the road, near mile three on the George Price Highway on Tuesday 19th December. He had a major injury to the back of his head - but no one knew how he got it.
That left him critically injured and Meighan succumbed to his injuries on Christmas Day. Today police said they don't think he was killed.

"Reference the incident where Mr. Cladius Meighan was found on the 19th December on the George Price Highway, the postmortem was conducted this morning. The doctor has certified that the cause of death due to a fall that he had received and it is not consistent with any road traffic accident or any knock intentionally by anybody. So it was caused by him falling and caused him to go in a coma and thereafter he suffered from a lung collapse that caused his death."
