Man Missing For Three Weeks +
posted (January 8, 2018)
At the end of December, we told you about 24-year-old Eugenio Rodriguez who had been missing since December 16th. His family has been searching for him but they still have not found a trace or a clue of where he might be.

Today makes 23 days since his disappearance. His family is in an extremely worried state not knowing where Rodriguez could possibly be or what kind of harm may have been done to him. One of his cousins gave an off-camera interview this evening sharing information about him.

Voice of: Sandy Vaccaro, Cousin
"Approximately we just have communication back and forth with family members. Nothing much directly from the police department. I am not really sure how much reinforcement has been made but to my knowledge, not much has been made because so far up until this day he has still not been found. Nothing has been heard. No one has seen anything and it is not really something good for a family member to go through."

"And so he was last seen where?"

Sandy Vaccaro
"Well, most of the information gathered from family members is that he was last seen by his work at by May. That last week in December which would probably be around the 15th or 14th I passed his work. I saw him there he was waving back at me. He had a smile on his face and it is really sad because that is all the memory I have of my cousin. Apart from that family member is saying that he was last staying at a place at West Canal with some family members. When he went missing nobody saw anything, nobody knows anything so it is like really hard to be able to go through this kind of thing."

"That week we also learnt that he had not picked up his cheque for the week and his stuff was still there. This not something a normal person would do, not go for their pay. That led to suspicion. After that family members started talking and gathering information but up until this day, nothing solid has been said of found."

"Ok. So as a family do you guys know if anybody had anything against him or was he involved with people that may have wanted to hurt him or are you guys not sure?"

Sandy Vaccaro
"To be honest with you as a family member I don't really have an idea of his entire lifestyle and up until this moment, I am sorry to say I really don't care. It is just that I want to find my cousin. I want closure. I want to see him. I just want closure. I mean it is not nice not knowing where he is. I am a mother of four and I mean just the thought of going through that is unbearable actually. The thought of it just makes you want to cry and fall to pieces. It is really really hard."

"He is 24 years old and hardworking person like any other young person. He was just trying to survive and make ends meets. I don't know of his lifestyle like I said but at the end of the day, no one deserves to be taken away from their family and be extinct like that. He leaves behind three kids and trusts me I think they want to know where their dad is and they want to see him. I would want to know where my loved ones are so it is really hard and also the fact that he has kids."
