Pair of Accused to Court tin Orange Walk

Also appearing court today - but in Corozal were alleged murderer George Bull, seen here on screen right in blue, and driver Jesus Enrique Munoz on screen left in white.

The two were taken to court in Corozal because Orange Walk has no Magistrate presently.

George Bull a 39 year old Construction Worker from Carmelita Village was charged for Murder and Escape From Lawful Custody. He had been on the run from police for three weeks after slipping out of custody. He did so right after being positively identified as the shooter in the murder of Jaime Pelayo Jr.

He was remanded to the Central Prison until his next court appearance on February 14th

24 year old, Jesus Enrique Munoz was handcuffed to Bull today. He is accused of knocking down a police man on a patrol motorbike, 27 year old Constable Enid Tillett. This happened on Saturday on the Belize/Corozal Road.

He was arraigned one charges of Drove a motor vehicle without due care and attention, Failed to give way when changing direction, Negligent Grievous Harm and Used Motor Vehicle without third party risk insurance.

Munoz was offered bail of five thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount by Magistrate Patricia Arana and was ordered to return to court on February 14th.

And, in Dangriga, Coast Guardsman Jerry O'hara David has been arrested and charged for Manslaughter by Negligence, Causing Death by Careless Conduct and Drove Without due care and attention. On Sunday, he knocked down and killed 52 year old Phillip Diego between miles 10 and 11 on the Stand Creek Valley Road.
