It didn't make headlines yesterday, but there was a fire on JR street in the Port Loyola area. A small wooden structure was quickly engulfed in flames.
It burned so fast, they didn't even have time to call the fire department. Carrying biuckets, the police and neighbours put it out before fire truck arrived or it would have spread to nearby homes.
The house was completely destroyed.
