Fortunately, no one was hurt when a most inexplicable accident happened in the city this evening coming unto the 5:00 pm rush hour. A Toyota Tacoma was westbound on Coney Drive when the driver somehow lost control and spun off the road, catapulted over a drain, and flipped on the shoulder of the road.
No one in the area knows for sure how it happened but the tire marks on the road showed that the pickup did a wild skid off the road.
Passers-by rushed the driver to the hospital - but he had no injury apart from generalized pain in the neck area.
When we got to the scene a few minutes later, a tow truck had already arrived and was removing the pickup - which showed only minor damage. Police are calling it a minor accident.
