The incident happened yesterday, and according to police, Rosa Rivelo, reported that her son attacked her with a scrub board. Police quickly arrested him and charged him with aggravated assault, and he was arraigned today before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer.

During his arraignment, he said that he was washing some clothes at the time, and that his mother started to annoy him by bringing up his common-law wife.
