Man Accused of Aggravated Assault While facing Murder Charge
posted (February 2, 2018)
Nelson Henry got off a murder charge last week Wednesday, and in only 9 days time, he was back before the court today for unlawful imprisonment and aggravated assault charges.

The alleged victims, who are 2 young boys, say that on Monday, January 14, Henry and others broke into their home in Burrell Boom Village, and held them against their will. The victims say that in the home invasion, Henry and the alleged accomplices then stole a few kitchen knives and 2 machetes, all to a total value of $45.

You may be wondering how it is that Henry is accused of committing a crime while he was still accused of murder. Well, Henry was out on bail since September 2017, when the prosecution's murder case against him started falling apart.

For this alleged home invasion, Henry was charged with 2 counts of unlawful imprisonment and and one count of aggravated burglary. When he was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer today, he pleaded not guilty to all charges, and he was granted bail of $4,000. He must return to court on March 18.

2 days ago, Keifer McKenzie, the only living son of George "Junie Balls" McKenzie was arraigned on these same charges for this very same home invasion.

McKenzie's mother, Mellissa Major, was as also arraigned on charges for this home invasion. Sherrifa Jex is the 4th accused in this incident.
