On Saturday over 30 referees gathered at the Marion Jones Stadium for a physical fitness test conducted by a visiting FIFA Instructor. When it was done, only 5 assistant referees, and 3 referees had passed.
The test was designed for international referees - and the FFB says the results should be seen as an incentive for the refereeing community to keep training to become physically fit.
