Yesterday, the Ahmad family called a press conference to publicly press the police to push harder to find what they insist is a true, hidden motive behind the murder of Fareed Ahmad.
His wife Irma Dyer spoke publicly for the first time - and she said that her husband was very angry after he had been searched and humiliated by the Special assignment Team - and that he had a foreboding of his death by police:...

"He was very angry, we talked about it. He spent hours telling me what they did to him and of course I felt so bad and it got to the point where he was asking me. He said, Irma "I can't figure out why are they harassing me." He said Irma, are you playing with any of those officers? And at first, I said Fareed you are being disrespectful to me, but he said, Irma I know but I'm trying to figure why? He said, babes if anything should happen to me on this road, going or coming from work, don't be surprised if the police are involved. What they did to Fareed, he didn't deserve it. That's the reason I am out here because we are fighting for justice for Fareed and we will not stop. We will not stop because it's not right what they did to him."
And while the family believes that he was killed for some sinister reason - they rejected the suggestion that it was some kind of state sponsored execution.
