This morning, we found this vehicle wrapped around a lamp post on newly paved stretch of the Phillip Goldson Highway. Construction work was finished just last year on this stretch, which starts in Ladyville and ends at the Haulover Bridge.
A nice touch on the new highway were the towering street lamps.
Well, someone crashed into one of these posts between miles 7 and 8, wrecking it.
We're told that this is the 4th lamp post that's been destroyed only months after the work was completed. The first happened last year August, when a US Embassy vehicle slammed into one.
