A 47 year old Ladyville father is in jail tonight after he was charged with 5 counts of incest. For obvious reasons we can't use his name of photo, but he appeared today before Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser. No plea was taken because the offence is indictable, and no bail was offered.
He was remanded into custody until May 15.
According to the allegation, the man had sexual intercourse with his 12 year old daughter on 5 occasions between August 4, 2016 and October, 2016.
