He told the judge he broke into a car and stole because he was hungry - and, today, the Chief Magistrate told Steven Carter, that where she is sending him, he will be fed every day.
The 28 year old Carter pleaded guilty to theft from Gilmar Carillo's car at 1:30 AM on February 13th in the Buttonwood Bay area. Police went to Life Avenue in Buttonwood Bay and intercepted him riding a bicycle with a black bag in one hand and a glove in the other.
Chief Magistrate Fraser sentenced him to one year in prison.
