A security guard was shot early this morning - but no one can say why. At around 1:00 AM - 26 year old Edwin Williams was on duty at the University of Belize Education and Arts Campus at the Old Teachers College when a man pulled up and pointed a gun at him. Williams pushed him, and dashed off, but the gunman still shot him in the leg as he escaped. Fortunately, it was a minor injury and Williams was treated and released. Today his mother told us he would not be speaking with the media.
