In June of last year a common law couple was accused of a monstrous case of
the molestation of a 9-year-old girl. The male was charged with 6 counts of
rape and 6 counts of carnal knowledge and the woman, 6 counts of abetment to
rape. Investigators said that he raped her, while his wife tied her down.
Well Wilfred Gillett and his common law wife Beverly Simpson were back in court
today, charged with additional counts. Gillett was charged with 1 count of an
unnatural crime, 6 counts of grievous harm and 3 counts of threat of death.
Simpson was charged with 6 counts of abetment to commit unlawful carnal knowledge,
1 count of aggravated assault and 1 count of threat of death.
These charges are in addition to other counts that has been levied in June
of last year.
