Escuela Secundaria Technica Mexico Scholarships

Earlier in the news, we showed you the Belmopan and Belize City events that the Mexican Vice Minister and the Mexican Embassy hosted while the vice-minister was in Belize today.

Well, his itinerary was full, and we'll now tell you about a third program launch that he was a part of. The Mexican Government will be funding 25 partial scholarships for needy high school students who are enrolled at Escuela Secundaria Technica Mexico. That's the high school in San Roman, Corozal, which the Mexican Government funded for the Belize Government to open in that northernmost district.

35 years later, that school is still going strong, and in fact, graduates from ESTM have been scoring high grades in external exams.

The Mexican Government wants to see more achievements like this one, and so, they are going to provide partial scholarships to students who attend that high school, but who may not be able to afford it on their own.
