"Last night I was talking to my uncle that lives in Mango Creek and he said he came over for a visit which he never did. So, they went to the river, they spent a good time there, swimming. He was happy enough, they never seen him before like that, so after a while when the time was up, they had enough. They came up from the river and he was headed home with some friends and one of my cousin, one of my uncle son. Unfortunately, they didn't make it. My uncle told me that he invited his son for a barbeque that he was going to do at home in Santa Cruz village where he was staying. He was very ambitious. He wanted to have everything that he could get hold of. He was very dedicated. He was this guy who would go around having fun with friends, drinking, eating, going out, going to the farm wherever when he had a spear time. That was him, very ambitious that is what got him to buying a new Wingle 2017. He was happy with his vehicle."

Martinez leaves behind four children. The police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
