"Police from Orange Walk visited San Luis Village where they found one Elijio Grahalez a 49-year-old labourer of Orange Walk. He was found in the face-up position and had injuries to the head and face. He was bleeding from the mouth the brother of the deceased Mr. Orlando Castillo indicated that his brother was operating on a tractor apparently the tractor had mechanical issues and the tractor did not want to start. He left his brother there dealing with the tractor and shortly after he found him in the condition that police had arrived and found him. His brother indicated that maybe it is a possibility that he had left the tractor in gear when it started it ran over him."

"The tractor was found about 15 to 16 feet away from him. No one else was in the area so all indications are that it ran over him at this point."

"The tractor did hit into another vehicle and that caused the other vehicle to overturn and caused damages to that truck. I think it was pick up truck."

The police continue to investigate.
