Government officials have insisted that the recovery of the tourism
industry will continue to improve with each air carrier that decides to
resume its flights. And tonight, the Belize Tourism Board is announcing
that Southwest Airlines will start flying to Belize again from Houston
and Denver, Colorado.
The flights will begin on November 7, 2021. Southwest will offer a
non-stop service from Houston from Sunday to Saturday.
The flight from Denver will happen on Saturdays only.
In 2020, All Southwest flights were put on pause due to the closure of PGIA, due to the pandemic.
