Friday marked the end of the Department of Youth services Wilderness and Wellness training camp.
It was the first of its kind, a camp designed to take troubled young men out of their element in Belize City and into the natural environment of Mountain Pine Ridge for wilderness survival training and both sensory and emotional healing.
And it seems that the camp was a success with leaders from all branches of government today coming together to praise it and the first round of participants.
They were all presented with completion certificates this morning and 7News was at the Radisson to find out what it was like when these former Gangstas went into the wild.
